Founded in 1981, the Lion’s Den is a key club that is open 24/7, 365 days a year. We are conveniently located off of highway 72 in Athens at 212 Commercial Drive.

The gym was founded by Steve McGlocklin and Jim Swanner. It was originally started with homemade equipment located in the basement of Steve’s in-laws’. Now Lion’s Den Gym has a 10,000 square foot facility with new and improved equipment and new additions every year.
